Friend and fellow creative Matt Bansak recently invited Emilie and I out to a secret desert location for a night of camping and star gazing. Having met Matt long ago, I know that when he comes up with an idea like this it’s usually going to be an amazing photogenic adventure. I usually try to take notes when I hang out with Matt - he’s an extremely talented photographer filled with useful tips and tricks with an eye for surreal environments and beautiful night skies.
Well, this trip was picture perfect. And he even got to go “kite biking” to boot, a new sport he invented on the spot harnessing the power of the wind to pull him across the dry desert lake bed.
